By becoming a member of the JARO Xperience Program, you agree to the following general terms and conditions when using our services.
To collect points and take full advantage of your JARO Xperience privileges, you must provide your member information when making your reservation. You must assume full responsibility for the use, abusive use, or misuse of your member information as well as for the activities involved in the use of this information. For security reasons, you are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of your member information.
- The collection period of JARO Xperience points starts on January 1st and ends on December 31st of each year.
- Every year, on January 1st, your membership status is validated and readjusted according to the number of nights you spent in our hotels. The reassessment of your membership status may result in a downgrade in the status of your membership. If over the course of one year, the number of nights required to maintain your current status is not met, your membership will be downgraded to the appropriate status.
- You can pay for your nights with your JARO Xperience points once you have earned 7,500 points;
- Your collected JARO Xperience points cannot be redeemed during busy periods, which are determined by each hotel depending on the occupation rate.
- You must book your free night in advance using your member information, via the JARO Xperience booking portal or our official reservation centre. The prevailing night rate at that specific time determines the number of JARO Xperience points required for a free night’s stay.
- Bookings made with group rates, negotiated rates or through tour operators may not be eligible for the accumulation and use of JARO Xperience Points;
- Only the stays you booked via the JARO Xperience booking portal or our official reservation centre are eligible to point collection. Stays that are not booked via the aforementioned reservation methods are not eligible to the collection of JARO Xperience points.
- JARO Xperience points cannot be collected through negotiated, corporate or government rates, unless stated otherwise in the terms and conditions of a specific offer.
- JARO Xperience points can be earned through certain packages and deals. See our offers’ terms and conditions to confirm eligibility.
- The 10% discount at JARO restaurants is valid at Restaurant Beffroi Steak House, Ginger, Les Palmes and Le 10Vagues. To get the discount and collect points, the check must be added to your room bill. No discount can be given and no points can be collected if the check is paid for directly at the room or restaurant.
- The 10% discount at JARO restaurants doesn’t apply upon the booking of a package or special offer.
- The free drink does not apply upon the booking of a package or special offer.
- The privileged night rate does not apply upon the booking of a package or special offer.
- The privileged night rate does not guarantee room availability.
- The JARO Xperience points used to book a stay are deducted from your account upon arrival at the hotel. Redeemed points cannot be reclaimed if your stay is shortened.
- At the beginning of the stay, you must proceed to check in at the front desk yourself. In order to benefit from the privileged night rate, the member must proceed to check in in person. If you wish to offer a night’s stay using your JARO Xperience points, you must contact us by using the contact form. Only one room per night can be booked at the privileged night rate.
- The JARO Xperience privileges granted are based on the status you reached on the first night of any of your stays. No changes can be made in your status during a stay. If the number of nights required to upgrade your status is reached during a stay, you can start enjoying your new privileges on the next stay.
- To earn JARO Xperience points, bookings must be made via hotelsjaro.com or via JARO Hotel & Services’ reservation centre.
- JARO Xperience points cannot be earned through third parties of any sort.
- JARO Xperience points CANNOT be transferred from one member account to another.
- JARO Xperience privileges and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.
By providing your personal information, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure by us, for us, or for any other member of JARO Hotels & Services – Hotel Plaza Québec, Hotel Québec Inn, Hotel Palace Royal, L’Hôtel Québec, Hotel Must, Hotel Lindbergh and Auberge Québec – of the given information or any other information about your stay or the products and services provided, directly or indirectly, by one of our hotels, for the purpose of:
- Customer service – Personal information is used to speed up the check-in process and meet-up your personal lodging needs.
- Marketing – Personal information is used to inform you of the products and services directly or indirectly offered by JARO Hotels & Services.
- Market study – Personal information is used to improve the products and services offered to you.
JARO Hotels & Services reserves the right to suspend or terminate the JARO Xperience loyalty program at any time without notice. In the case of program termination, the points that have not been claimed will be cancelled. JARO Hotels & Services reserves the right to modify the conditions of membership at any time in its sole discretion, including the alteration of:
- The number of points earned for every dollar spent.
- The number of points required for a free night’s stay.
- The points’ validity conditions.
- The associated benefits.
- The period of inactivity.
In the event where changes in the JARO Xperience program occur, members will be informed by email, via the address provided upon enrollment. Participation to the program after the reception of any change notice implies the acceptance of the outlined changes by the members.
